Tampa East Sertoma
Tampa East Sertoma have been generous supporters of UCP of Tampa Bay for decades. They provide not only financial support, but also manpower whenever needed. They have sponsored projects such as erecting a flag pole at our Henry Avenue location, to providing the financial support to enable us to refurbish our on site swimming pool. The organization is comprised of a wonderful group of generous and dedicated individuals whose mission is to provide “Service to mankind”
Tampa East Sertoma is a versatile group of guys from all walks of life. Ranging in age from 35 to 85+, they are an unlikely group in many ways, but they have something in common that binds them together – a desire to help others and give back to the community.
Giving back to the community takes many forms for these men, from volunteering physical labor, such as for Paint Your Heart Out Tampa or work days at United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay, Inc. (UCP), to holding fundraising events throughout the year to support a number of other charitable organizations. Additional groups include the Hillsborough Association for Retarded Citizens, Sertoma’s Youth Ranch, Camp Endeavor, Safe Ears and God’s Pedal Power Ministry.
