Early Intervention Services
Early Intervention Services provide emotional support, guidance, and coaching to help families of developmentally delayed or disabled children, age’s birth through three years of age. An early intervention specialist will design the child’s goals to optimize their functioning ability and potential, promote healthy family relationships, independence, and community inclusion.
Referrals for Early Intervention Services come from the West Central Florida Early Steps Program. Services include eligibility evaluation, assessment, and home and community based intervention. Children are served in their natural environment.
Our Early Intervention Services are provided in Pasco and Hernando counties and are based out of our Brooksville satellite office. A licensed physical therapist provides these services.
United Way of Hernando County helps fund this valuable program in Hernando County.
