Laura White, M.S. CCC/SLP, Executive Director
Laura has been with United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay (UCP) since 1997. She has held a number of positions within the organization, demonstrating continued growth and leadership skills. Laura initially came to UCP of Tampa Bay as a Speech /Language Pathologist, working on a multi-disciplinary team in UCP’s therapy program. She later became the speech department coordinator, prior to her promotion to the Therapy Services manager. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as a Master of Science degree in Speech / Language Pathology. All from the University of South Florida. In 2007, she earned her Certification in Nonprofit Management and Innovation from the University of Tampa. This graduate-level program helped further her understanding of the nonprofit sector including: analysis of financial performance, marketing, fund development approaches, identifying innovative opportunities for growth, strategic planning processes, and nonprofit leadership. Laura’s experience, expertise and passion for those with disabilities gives her the skills necessary to serve UCP’s staff, clients and community stakeholders.

Tiana Bijoux, M.A, Director of Operations
Tiana joined UCP of Tampa Bay on February 2016. Since 2012, Tiana worked for Resources for Independence of Virginia (RIVA), in Fairfax, VA and UCP on the Potomac, in Lanham, MD. These are two independent not for profit agencies of Sunrise Community, Inc. During her time at RIVA and UCP on the Potomac, she held the position of Staff Development Coordinator. Tiana developed, coordinated, and conducted internal investigations, on-going trainings in various subject areas (county, state, federal level) for staff at all operational levels. Tiana holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Bridgewater State College and a MA in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University/Washington D.C. She worked with diverse populations dealing with various emotional, clinical, and behavioral challenges. In addition, she has worked with individuals with disabilities for over 20 years. Through her various academic and career placements, she developed her skills in conducting therapy, relationship building, guidance, management, and as an advocate. She is very dedicated to working with, supporting and advocating for people with disabilities.
